I would like to know why I cannot get signed onto Yahoo Messenger?

  • I have been trying for hours to get signed onto the yahoo messenger. I am having no luck at all. Can you explain to me what is happening with yahoo messenger?


  • if your ID is working properly, then the messenger has a problem itself esp if you are using version 9. so if you are using ver9, i highly recommend you to get rid of it and reinstall ver 8.1 or ver7. anyways, try to restart your PC first. if the problem persists, then that's the time you need to uninstall that messenger. but be sure there is no problem with your account.


  • From what I am hearing; Yahoo's server is down.
    I think they were doing Maintenance..hopefully it should get back on its feet.
