Best graphics card under 250?

Those are the two card I am looking at.
Is there any difference in memory? Does 512mb vs. 1gb really matter if the 1gb card is slower?
Here are my specs (current):
3.0 GHz Intel Viiv (Dual Core)
3gbs Ram
450 Drive
300 watt power supply (Don't worry, I am upgrading to a 750 soon)
I am not exactly sure what bus type I have, but I currently have a Nvidia Geforce 8500 GT, so if you happen to know what type it is, much appreciated.
Runs Vista 32 bit.

You most definitely have a PCI-E slot as your computer was maunfactured within the last few years. 99% of Geforce 8500s were made for PCI-E, except for a few made for regular PCI, but those are extremely rare.
