ok i have a nvidia geforce 8600gt 512mb along with a q6600 quad core processor. Well lately games that always ran smoothly now only run good for first 2 minutes and than the lag kicks in. If i wait like 10-20 minutes and then restart the game it will be working good again for 2 mins and the lag will kick in again... Any suggestions on how i might fix this besides formattingIt might be overheating, as cards that overheat automatically reduce performance to reduce heat. Does the fan go really loud after the two minutes? Try getting a GPU cooler or improve cooling and airflow in your case.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
