Animals in Islam? Please Help Me =D?
I was wondering what happens to animals when they pass away according to islam? Obviously they have souls and they can think and feel. Is there an "animal heaven" or do they go to the same heaven as humans? and how is their life judged? Give me as much info as you know.
Shukran :-)
God says:
"And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together" (Quran, 81:5)
And:
"There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communities like you. We have neglected nothing in the Book, then unto their Lord they (all) shall be gathered" (Quran, 6:38)
The Prophet's disciple, Ibn Abbas, said: "Everything will be gathered, even the flies."
On that Day, the animals will get their just compensation. So if one cow was hit with the horn of another cow, then it will be the reverse and the cow that got hit will hit the other with its horn. The reason for this is that God is The Most Just, and therefore He must deliver Justice and due compensation for every living thing, from the smallest insect to the most giant dinosaur.
Then after that--after they receive just compensation--God will say "Be dust!" And then the animals will turn to dust and be no more.
The reason is Allah (swt) said in the Quran He created humans & jinn to worship Allah (swt) no mention of animals. Animals do have free will, but it's different. They have a different purpose in this world.
Edit: I dunno, I guess their souls just die and they tunr to dust. I know its hard to understand but thats just the power of Allah swt, He is too great for us.
The day of Judgment is only for Humans and Jinns (Demons) !!!!!!!!!
they just die and thats it, they end
khalas
Random people on here won't know much and some are just going to post nasty and mean things, just ignore them babe.
Hope I helped x
animals are here as their only life, and there is no hesven or hell for animals.
animals come back on the day of judgement and get judged, then they can take revenge on whoever hurt them, and then they will turn into dust on/by allah's command.
It was narrated from Sulaymaan ibn Buraydah from his father that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him),
O Messenger of Allaah, are there horses in Paradise? He said, If Allaah admits you to Paradise, any time you wish to be carried on a horse of red rubies that will fly with you wherever you want in Paradise, you will do that.
Another man asked him, O Messenger of Allaah, will there be camels in Paradise? and he did not say to him something like he said to his companion. He said, If Allaah admits you to Paradise, you will have there whatever your heart desires.
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2543; this hadeeth was classed as hasan by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 3/522.
