RAW Shooter Essentials

  • Has anyone ever used RAW Shooters Essentials? I have downloaded a free trial version and it looks like a great way to edit and view my NEF files. Just wondering if there is any downsides to using the program or what opinions are on the software. All I have ever used is Adobe 4.0 and CS.

  • It's a great piece of software, still in developement though. Thats why it's free at the moment. When it's done it will be challenging C1, the best RAW converter at the moment. I like RSE a lot, but it needs a few more tweaks before it's really good. But what I've seen so far it is very promising.

  • E you know my opinion as I told you about it. Since our discussion it has become my primary tool. Right now bar none, I think it's the best conversion program on the market. Right now free. Next cost 500+

  • i download RS yesterday, it looks and acts a lot like PS raw editer, at frist glance good
