Email Restriction & Others

    Pre-Sales questions:

    Can I restrict sign up to members with emails in a specific domain? I see I can ban by domain (admin demo) but I want to be able to restrict to users with email addresses on the company domain.

    And is there an import from news group archive available?

  • someone made a hack for newsgroup integration, but I don't know if they released it freely, commercially, or at all. you could check out www.vbulletin.org and find out, though.


  • 1) Without some hacking, no it wont be possible, unless you put in your BAN list all the domains out there (100000's of them). vbulletin.org might have a hack already. You can inquire or request there if you want

    2) There is no news group support.
