Should the soldier from Minnesota be allowed to keep a puppy he kept as a pet in Iraq?

  • This soldier wants to have the dog sent to the US because he worried it will be killed.

  • he shuld definetly b able to if he wants

  • hell yeah, if he was willing to give his life over there, why shouldn't we let him have a puppy?

  • The puppy should be dressed and eaten as soon as possible before the meat gets tough.

  • i think if the soldier can pay what the costs are to have the dog sent here from iraq then there shouldnt b a problem..
its not like the dog is a terrorist or has a bomb strapped to it...
i say allow the dog to go to its owner that found it and let the dog live a long and happy life..

  • No, it can carry disease, and one dog like that can destroy thousands of pets here. Don't mess with plague.

  • H*** no it could have a bomb in it and could blow up andother major building just like 911

  • I think it's all right for him to bring it back. I mean a lot of people have dogs imported from other countries, so why can't he?

  • I don't see why he couldn't have the dog shipped to the U.S., provided that he, or some organization, is willing to pay the shipping charges not the U.S. government. Also provided the dog is checked by a licensed vet & given all the proper vaccinations that dogs are required to have here in the U.S.
and that he isn't carrying any type of exotic diseases that he could spread to the pet population here.

  • The soldier is a she, and yes, she should be able to keep Ratchet. She spent how much time in Iraq, serving her country, to be able to keep a dog isn't a lot to ask.
