I am 22 , I have a membership to Golds, And I am 5'7. I am starting to become short of breath and thinks its because of physical inactivity. Not asthma. I just need to know how long I can look to work out because I want to lase at least 60-70 lbs.One of the best things is to avoid what is mostly available to you as a trucker. Sodas and fast food. Try to eat lots of fruits, veges and whole grains. Good luck to you.A balanced diet and not over eating.
A different exersise routine every week so your body doesn't get used to it.well you're not gonna lose weight by driving trucks, but you can by consuming less fast food and try to squeeze in some exercise such as cardio and weight training. Think of anything that can burn those calories like parking far away from your destination so you can walk some calories off. Climb stairs instead of taking the elevator etc.
stay away from fatty foods, red meats, and foods high in sugar. stick with whole foods such as fruit and vegetables, get your protein from chicken or fish or some sort of lean meat.
and to keep it off its gonna have to be life long. shortcuts won't work unfortunately. Just stay alert, know what you're putting into your body. And be creative with exercise so you won't get bored. Think fit, use self talk, do not talk yourself out of things. Motivate yourself. Give yourself a goal to achieve and make sure its achievable so you don't set yourself up for disappointment.
if you can afford it, get a trainer, they will be able to motivate you, they can be hard work, but they'll get it done..
get an exercise buddy to help motivate you. you can push each other.
: ) good luck!hey 22 is too young to weigh so much cut down on the juices and sodium laden foodsasap
