They may also get shoes specially made. They probably also go to Garage Sales so they can get shoes really cheap and just throw one away.I believe they purchase just one single shoe from a special store or maybe the prosthetics department at a hospital. soem people just buy all two and they waste one

they might have a fake foot, which can fit the shoe. Oh I forget, but there's actually a website where people trade shoes. You know, for people who have two different sized feet. I suppose one legged people could just donate their other shoe. I've tried buying just one shoe from a store and that didn't fly. You have to buy both shoes, or go have custom made shoes built. I think Podiatrists do that.They buy a pair of shoes because they use both of them.
