What types of rocks and minerals can be found in Deep Creek Lake, MD?!?

My daughter and her freind are going there for 3 days and their science class is studying rocks and minerals. This subject interests them very much and it would be cool for them to be able to find these while they are away. Also, how can you find the rocks and minerals if they are there?
