howdy all! i am completely new to everything about photography, but recently purchased a used camera and im curious to learn!! In the package, i receieved a small MACRO attachment. I used that to experiment and to see what it did, and i always seem to get round shadows along the bottom of the photos. is it safe to assume that its due to me being to close? heres the included items with the package i bought.... What I wanted to do was draw multiple lines comming from the same point to a random point that moves around randomly. I then wanted to apply a blur filter. The effect produces a ray of light that resembles what you would see if you where underwater. It's pretty cool, but after a while I found that the lag got worse (I think it was because of the huge "for" loop) anyway... I decided to convert all the lines to a bitmapdata and THEN apply a filter to it... This did take care of the growth in lag... But instead... In my case I have enormous difference in output volume depending on if I play mp3:s or listen to shoutcast webradio. The setup - I have a brand spanking new Dell 2400 that is maxed out at 1 gig of RAM. I run the McAfee suite and have all the components running all the time. I have 4 users on my machine which is running XP. I typically log off every time I am done using the computer. One of my users does not. Also, this user tends to play older cd-rom games that are disney interactive and tends to not log off OR close the games when finished with the computer. When I go back to the computer and get the login screen (due to inactivity) and choose myself as the user, everything is very slow and my dsl line will not connect to any websites. I have a pair of those lighted porch trees that have a decorative base. Unfortunately, the bases are not very heavy and the trees fall over when it's windy. I gave up last winter on them, but would really like to put them out again for Christmas. Any suggestions on how to keep them standing up? Hi, my movie files are stored on several harddisks in several folders. I can access the files by SMB-Network. Everything works fine! Congratulations to the coders. But ... as I do not know where every movie is located I have to scan up to 50 subdirectories to find the one I want to see. I have a Telegent TM-100 UPnP-client that can show me all the stored media files in a long menu and play them then. All I have to do is run Windoes Media Service or Philips Streamium or any other UPnP Server on the server machine. XBMC 2.0.0 should be able to listen to such a UPnP server, too. I'm trying to burn files on a disk but every time I put a disk in. It says theirs no disk or it's not writable. It doesn't matter what disk I put in it always shows the files I added to the drive.
